What is your message?

We live in a tecnological age and everyday we are sending messages out into the world. Not only are we sending out messages over the Internet or text messages, we also send out messages to people around us through out the day. What message are you sending?

Everyday when I read emails or login to Facebook and twitter I see so much negativity. Several people I know are airing their problems but not taking responsibility for anything. There are also some pretty offensive jokes being passed around, and not just passed around between like minded people but instead put in the newsfeed for all to see.

Not only do we send out messages via the Internet, we also send out messages in our day to day interactions with others. We all have that co-worker who seems to suck the life out of everyone the moment they walk in the door. They don't even have to say anything, it's in their body language, it's screaming life sucks and it's all your fault. I used this as an example because it is something we can all relate to and unfortunately we are all guilty of acting this same way at times. The same can be said for our words. We can either use our words to encourage others and bring positivity into a conversation or we can be the negative person. Which one will you choose to be?

I challenge everyone to only post and use positive interactions for just one day. It's harder then you think. If you make it through one day then try it again the next day and then the next. You will see a difference in your relationships. Positivity is like a smile, it's contagious. If you do this you will feel healthier, have more energy and your life will greatly improve. Try it, I promise you won't be disappointed.

I would like to acknowledge the few people that are a ray of light everyday. I won't call them out personally but I would like to say thank you for your positive thoughts and kind words. I look forward to seeing what you will post everyday and I love your positive feedback.
